"This Should Keep Her Quiet" is one of a series of art quilts I have created to metaphorically represent the boundaries that women have faced and continue to face in their quest to maximize their potential in our society. Women have been denied their voice for centuries by being stifled, talked over, told to shut up, or literally imprisoned, as this reference to fairy tales of old suggests.
