In Shimmering Horizon, I revived my piecing practice. Working with small-scaled and freely-cut pieces, this composition meets the coastal subject matter of my printed work. A shimmering line of bright reds amidst a vast spectrum of blue and gray hand-dyed colors evokes the horizon at dawn or dusk.
