She's Lost Control Again

"She's Lost Control Again" started with the intent to make a small two-color quilt to use as an example for a new workshop. The morning I started creating the quilt I was angered by national news and was "seeing red!" I wanted to express the chaos and lack of control I was feeling as I worked. I began with a single piece of fabric in the center of my design wall, and built it piece by piece. My process is improvisational, fluid and visceral, an intuitive spontaneous activity.
