Shadows of the Divine

The title was inspired by a quote attributed to Michelangelo: "The true work of art is but a shadow of the divine perfection." Walking through the quiet magnificence of a Redwood forest, one senses that their greatness has existed forever. Indeed, these giants are among the longest living species on our planet, humbling those among them with their divine grace.
