Seventeen

One day in the garden, I noticed the bright green leaves of a daylily with orange flowers. I wanted to capture the vibrancy of the plant.

My studio practice is about treating my work like a job. I work in the morning, take a lunch break, and back at it until 5 or 6. I love working with fabric. I love feeling it and the weight of a piece when it is all put together.
