Sense of Place: Mesa Verde

The ancient structures and terrace farms of Mesa Verde long ago supported a thriving population. Hundreds of years of culture and life lived within these canyon walls, yet within a "blink of time," these structures were abandoned and the people disappeared with little trace. The mystery of where they went, and why they left, is only left to speculation to this day.
