Seeking Simplicity: Threads 4

Sometimes what we think we see is an illusion. Seeking Simplicity: Threads 4 has two fabrics with a contrasting center square and appears to be two quilts laid on top of one another. The two quilts are, in fact, attached to each other. I like to create an impact by placing brightly colored fabrics together, causing a visual vibration. Threads of various shades, tones, and values of the base color family help to create a subtle change; what started out as one fabric now appears to be several.
