Sanctuary

Over many years, my meditation practice has been of great comfort as a safe place to retreat and find inner guidance. This image of a doorway toward the light captured for me an aspect of the intimacy of sitting quietly and observing places in my mind. I was inspired to create this piece by looking through my travel photos, exploring in other countries and coming upon magical places. There is always something new to discover within as well as without.
