San Antonio on My Mind

Music filled the air in San Antonio, and a guitar display in the vibrant downtown market called for a photograph. I played with the photo on my iPad, experimenting with a variety of algorithms until one abstracted version screamed, “Quilt!” The image was as colorful as San Antonio, and the configuration just as melodic. The brilliant fabrics and varied threads took this fiber collage to a level of excitement that pulls at my heartstrings.
