Regeneration

The 2019/20 bushfires down the east coast of Australia were completely unprecedented and lasted for an entire 6mths. Fortunately, they moved through my local area quickly, so the bushland also recovered quickly. Other areas weren't so lucky. This diptych was inspired by the photos that I took over the months following the fires in the Kulnura area of New South Wales. The flora regenerated quickly. The fauna takes longer, if at all.
