I lived for over a decade in Germany and every Spring the countryside would turn intensely yellow when the rape seed plants grown to make canola oil would bloom. This piece represents those yellow fields punctuated with the red of a regional train passing through the landscape. Some of the fabrics used are sun prints of actual rape plants.
