A Quilt for My Old Age

The white areas in this piece are made from silk blouses purchased at the Goodwill store. The middle layer is also silk. When I am old and feeble, I may not be able to see or to quilt, but I will be able to enjoy the luxurious feeling of the silk and the texture of the needlework. Maybe I will remember the joys of quilting, or maybe I will just enjoy the moment.
