I wanted to evoke the sensation of breath as it rises and falls in our body, to honor its presence, dance, and mystery. The quiet whites of silk and thread set the tone for exploring simplicity of design. The hand-stitched lines and shapes offer the viewer a contemplative space in which to observe and ponder the wonder of breath.
