Phineas

Seahorses are so very interesting creatures. The male seahorse carries and delivers the baby seahorses. Incorporating that fact into my piece, I created a transparent belly that allows for a first-hand view of the babies. With a bit of inspiration from Jules Verne, the gears and mechanical aspects of the main seahorse, Phineas, were a lot of fun to imagine and then translate.
