Petales pour Pauline

I called this quilt Pétales for Pauline after Pauline Burbidge. Indeed, we were both teaching at a quilt festival in Germany, and I was telling her about how I wanted to appliqué petals on a patchwork quilt and didn't really know how to go about it. She then told me about fusing, something I had never heard of!
