Pain

This piece was completed after the sudden death of my older sister, Bernice. She was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer at the age of 52, and died in less than 6 months - (the same age that our paternal grandmother died also of pancreatic cancer). Obviously there was a lot of pain to deal with at that time. I focused on this piece and tried to express through the many lines on this piece my thought that "Pain" goes in and out and up and down and through and through. Eventually I was able to "let it rest".
