Ode to Jan

I have long been a great admirer of the work of Jan Schoonhoven (1914-1994), a Dutch artist who used cardboard and papier-maché to create his white reliefs. He was a member of the Zero movement that held minimalism in high regard. In Ode to Jan, I tried to give substance to that with textiles.
