Nostalgic Immediacy

I see my poor mom standing in the middle of the room gripping the remote control for the TV but unable to turn it on, trying to figure out which button to push to answer the cordless phone and bursting into tears trying to use the computer. Life moves too quickly for someone born in the 1920's. Yet in this fast paced world the younger generation expects instant connection, immediate responses and instant communication. This artwork presents the tension between those generations.... Nostalgic Immediacy.
