Night Falling is the third in a series of 20 works that explored using hand-made silk paper and other fibers in an applique-like process. I love the luminosity and texture provided by these materials. This piece represents that rare moment-within-a-moment that captures the essence of nightfall. That instant when the day bows its head to the glorious coming of evening's magic.
