New Jersey Shore Bird

When my children were small, we spent many hours at our local library. I spent most of that time studying the illustrations in natural history books in the children's science/biology section. I still find creativity by looking at photos, illustrations, and Audubon books about birds. When I pull all of the information together, I compose the background of the bird collage. This often includes paper maps, painted fabric, and raw edge appliqué.
