Music of Morse

Mom was a Navy Wave during WWII, doing her bit and living her loyalty to our country. Her job was “Radioman,” and her uniform was slacks, a blouse, and a sweater. Morse Code was their means of communication. Mom thought the rhythms of her trumpet in her high school marching band were related to those of Morse Code. She felt her experience in band made the challenge of learning the code easier for her than for others. Or maybe it was easy because Mom was a clever lady.
