This quilt was made for a challenge called "Distortion" - the hexagons to the right are quilted with straight lines and symmetrical patterns. Towards the right, the shapes are still hexagons, but they are distorted and irregular. The idea was to depict the confusion and stress our natural work - and especially bees - is subject to.
