Lookouts I: Caesar & Friends

This sculpture started out as used denim jeans, which I manipulated into faces and embellished with upcycled elements ranging from old clothing labels, to buttons and beads, to a zipper pull mouth. The face with a golden leaf appliqué looks like Julius Caesar to me. These statues seem to be keeping watch; they also seem to be an expression of the multiple personalities we all have within ourselves.
