Lockdown

‘Lockdown” is the most recent work in my Isolation series, made during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the centre, my husband and I are standing in our doorway, standing 2 metres away from the few people who ring our doorbell. We have been locked in our house and garden since early March, 2020. The cords that bind us to family, friends and the world outside our home are stretching further away from us every week. We are losing those close contacts that make us feel a part of our community and our world.
