Leaf Stack #14 is one of many in my Leaf Stack series. The simple shape of a leaf is used to abstract and explore the implied overlapping of forms, transparency, and intersections of lines. The layered effect is achieved through the use of color, as there is only one layer of fabrics pieced together.
