It’s a Perilous World

When my daughters went off to college, I was struck by how precarious the world suddenly felt. I was sending them out into a planet affected by climate change and infiltrated by plastic; a place in which a global pandemic was lurking and peaceful nations were attacked. I was sending them out into a fractured, wounded nation, where they, as women, had less bodily autonomy than I had. Will they be able to navigate the thorny web of obstacles? Time will tell.
