Ironworks - Völklinger Hütte

The old ironworks "Völklinger Hütte" in Western Germany is a World Heritage Site, an important historical artefact as it showcases the region's history in the industry of iron making. The rusty industrial ruin offers a lot of visual inspiration, so many lines, weird shapes, interesting textures and colours. It is a landmark and the complex structure is visually overwhelming and beautiful.
