This quilt was made just after I had learned how to dye my own fabric. At the time I was working out of a spare bedroom and was just beginning to play with the idea of doing my own designs. I still had only an old Kenmore machine; I didn't even know there were specialty machines for quilting! I worked alone, didn't belong to a guild as I worked full time and had a family to tend to.
Materials
Cotton, hand dyed gradated fabric, hand quilting thread, batting.
