Hope and Fear

I spent most of 2020 feeling a combination of hope and fear. I painted turquoise and fuchsia on white fabrics to show a hopeful reality. As I composed abstract parts, I began to see a tree reaching for the sky and tree trunk rooted. The black fabrics depict fear.
