This is a large scale image of the face of a homeless woman who lived on the streets of Philadelphia. I met her several times during the summer of 2013 but have not seen or heard of her since. This is part of a body of work I am doing of homeless people in Pennsylvania.
Materials
Cotton, polyester, and silk fabrics, hand dyed; cotton and silk thread.
Techniques
Hand pieced and hand sewn using hand dyed fabrics.
