High Summer

A joyful interpretation of the colours of high summer, the imagery is taken from a series of drawings investigating the structures and forms found in garden plants.
I came to Art Quilts having previously studied Fine Art (painting). I found a medium in which I experiment with colour shape and form. Most of my imagery is drawn from the landscape and the plants that make-up the landscape.
