In Her Sisters' Shadow

The “Sisters” portrait allows me to tell a story, a visual story of the bonds of family, the connection of sisters, of making oneself heard. The individuality and connection between these women is shown through the use of color, texture and thread. The words reinforce those bonds and help to explain the feelings presented in the work.
