Gwendolyn

For my entire life I have been entranced by birds, their beauty, grace, behavior, songs, comedy, and the magic of flight! Sometimes I find a branch or root that looks like a bird’s head and neck, and I’m inspired to create a bird sculpture using this found object. Other times I will create, or find in my stash, a piece of fabric or felt that has the look of a bird’s feather coat, and I make an armature onto which I can attach this material.
