Sound the alarm! Our earth’s climate is changing. Arctic temperatures are rising, causing vast ice sheets to liquify. As of the year 2020, Greenland’s ice sheet has melted to a point of no return. Landforms emerge; sapphire rivers form under the ice and pour into the sea. Almost half of the ice sheet’s surface has turned to brilliant meltwater, accelerating further melting, which in turn raises sea levels and puts many of our earth’s major cities in peril.
