The fabrics used in this quilt are the result of a 2019 artist residency near my hometown in Nova Scotia. I immersed myself in the technique of mono printing and explored the possibilities this technique allows. These nature impressions are combined to show the beauty and tranquility of my surroundings.

Cotton fabric, acrylic paint, thread, embroidery floss.

Mono printing on a gel printing plate, piecing, machine stitching, hand embroidery.
