Felicitous Pickle

Felicitous Pickle is about transformation and exploring what can happen when you take a discarded work- in-progress and breathe new life into it. I inherited a Stack-N-Whack block from my friend Ann Hurley as part of a challenge to take someone else’s work, cut it up, and create a new, modern quilt. After disassembling the block, I incorporated sliced strips into an oversized motif that resembles a traditional pickle dish block. The results of working within tight parameters and with limited materials were felicitous indeed!
