Father and Son (self-portrait)

This piece is an appliquéd raw edge self portrait. I then inset the quilt into a 6 inch frame. The frame is wrapped in organza that was hand beaded with a contour drawing of my father. This allows the viewer to see the similar hereditary characteristics. The beads also casts the appropriate shadow on myself
