Excitation

This art quilt was made for a Quilt National show. It was not accepted and I still own it. I hand-dyed with the arahsi shibori method, yellow, orange, red, green, blue and purple. I used a improvisational rotary cutting technique to make the lines for this abstract quilt. I started building the square/oblong blocks from the middle out and it morphed into the wonky sides. It was quilted by Janet Telfa of Martinsville, Indiana in February 2010.
