Edge of Chaos

The daughter of a scientist and an artist, I received a love for both from my parents. My quilts are the manifestation of years of studying and observing. “Edge of Chaos” was inspired by images from the Hubble Space Telescope and invites the viewer to examine their place in the cosmos. The largest quilt I have made, it incorporates many of the exquisite piecing techniques my work is known for. May future generations view it and reflect upon their unseen, unknowable inner and outer spaces.
