This pieced landscape quilt depicts a road trip toward the purple mountains. I utilized the different sizes of white shell buttons as the perspective on the road, and an old painting on canvas of mine as the backdrop of the mountains from which I hung the quilt. I used mostly my own hand-painted silks in the piecing.
