Dome of the Santa Maria del Fiore

I have always been in awe of the architectural wonders in the European cities I have visited. Having had the opportunity to visit Italy awhile back I was inspired to create an art piece of a dome of the cathedral in Florence.

I edited an original photo in Photoshop Elements by cropping, giving it a 'painterly' look, and enhancing the colors. I then printed my image to fabric and free motion stitched this whole cloth piece.
