Divine Radiation

This was a pivotal quilt in the evolution of my "style". It marks the discovery that I could make any shape that I could draw with appliqué. This is when my voice really started to come through. The ability to make portable organic shapes and work in a more spontaneous way with collage was very satisfying. I loved having creative decisions to make from start to finish and not knowing where the shapes would finally land.
