Dichotomy

A dichotomy is defined as two completely opposite, sharply distinguished things. Good and evil, reality and imagination, heaven and hell, and male and female are all true dichotomies. As a quilter, I tend to think in terms of fabric and design. My personal definition of dichotomy is very simple—black and white.
