Desert Wind: Circles

Desert Wind: Circles was inspired by both my childhood and the natural and cultural environments of New Mexico. It portrays the evocative power of my memories of the ever-blowing winds among the foothills of the Sandia Mountains. These winds blew ceaselessly, sometimes as gentle breezes, sometimes as violent thunderstorms, but they remained an ever-present companion for a small child in a vast desert with its deceptive appearance of nothingness.
