Cup Mandala

By the year 2000, I had many many drawings waiting to be made into quilts. My hands were getting tired from all of the cutting and sewing. I still had hundreds of images in my head waiting to be drawn. But now I found out about printing digital pictures onto fabric, which opened up possibilities I had never before imagined! Cup Mandala began with one of my drawings professionally printed onto fabric. I made it into a quilt and painted messages about the idea of flow and movement onto the surface. I still love to play with fabric printed with my own designs.
