Connection

In my usual process, I began this quilt with a drawing! As the work has always been about healing, this piece is about a healing connection between all people, (Or Wolves!) one at a time. I used fabrics of my drawings that I had commercially printed as well as my old standbys, machine applique plus some commercial fabrics. I love cutting up what I have and turning it into something different and surprising the way I did in the border of this art piece. Its also so much fun to allow the quilt to take the shape it wants rather than trying for a perfect square!
