Chinese Tiles

Early on, my fascination with the art quilt was the ability to use alternative materials. Loved the challenge of figuring out how to incorporate semi-transparent raffia into a quilt. Joan Schulze, Jason Pollen and Nancy Halpern juried this work into Quilt National 1997.
