Camira is an original one-of-a-kind cloth sculpture inspired by Australian Aboriginal people. The name Camira is Aboriginal meaning “of the wind”. Camira invokes the proud and free spirit of the indigenous Aboriginal people of Australia. She has a needle-sculpted cloth face that has been painted with acrylic paint. Her clothing and accessories were handmade by the artist. Many layering and sewing techniques are part of this sculpture.
