This quilt marked a turning point in my work. It is an original design I created using an early Macintosh drawing program called Canvas. In 1994 it won a first place at the then American International Quilt Association show in Houston, TX (now renamed the IQA show), my first award ever at that show. More than two decades later, it remains one of my favorite pieces.
Materials
100% cotton fabrics.
Techniques
Machine pieced, hand quilted. It uses fabrics that I hand painted, hand dyed, and hand airbrushed.
