Box of Delights

Cabinet: foam board, card and paper maché overlaid with stitched and quilted cotton, linen and silk. Objects: found, altered and made, embellished with machine embroidered leaves, vines, charms, beads, butterflies and more than 300 tiny bottles filled with herbs, spices, beads and messages. The front has panels of acid etched fabric, hand stitched and quilted. The front and sides are embellished with handmade cords.
